Nissan Driver Door Not Locking

The solenoid is bad. The lock appears to receive some signal but it does not fully operate and unlock. Nissan had or has recall on the 2008 rouge for the same problem.

Both drivers door and front passenger door locks not working.

They are not unlocking with remote or key. If the lock isn t getting power hold the lock switch either up or down and then open and close the door repeatedly to see if the lock will work. I always have to push down the lock to lock the door. You have a broken wire.

If not there is the actuator that does not allow the central locking and i think is a matter of locksmith my solution so far is i disconnected the light from driver side door removed the plug and before i leave the car close by central locking the car and then manually the driver door looking for more permanent solution thanks. To lock the car all doors operate with key fob or manually pressing the lock button on the driver side panel but the driver door does not respond.

15 people found this helpful. Replacing it may require removing the car door panel. Nissan can said what ever they want but my 2017 nissan rogue with only 30 000 miles the driver side door lock is not working all the other doors are okay.
